Creamy and colorful – a delicious Italian gelato in your favorite flavor – such a delight! Italian gelato and Italian weddings are a match made in heaven.

And guess what? If you’re not into fruit or you’ve given up chocolate (yeah, right), the sooo typically Italian gelato is smoothly made with their prime ingredient:  olive oil.

Here’s our Cordon Bleu recipe:

1 liter whole milk

200 grams sugar

80 grams honey

100 grams extra virgin olive oil

Heat milk to 60C, add sugar and honey, bring to 80C then cool, add olive oil, stir and pour into ice cream machine (timing according to manufacturer’s instructions).
